Director Development Program

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, in association with VicWater, hosted the 2020 Director Development Program on 4-5 March 2020 at the Park Hyatt Melbourne.

Commencing with an opening dinner and guest speaker presentation on the night of Wednesday 4 March, the majority of the program was held over one full day on Thursday 5 March.

Over these days participates had the opportunity to network, stay on top of emerging issues and deep dive into areas of interest.

Following feedback from the 2018 program, the focus of the 2020 program was to put theory into practice with plenty of peer-to-peer learning opportunities and content designed to match the needs of both our newly appointed board members as well as our more experienced leadership cohort.

Invitations to the 2020 program were extended to the Chairs, Board members, and corporate secretaries of:

• Water corporations
• Catchment Management Authorities
• the Victorian Environmental Water Holder, and
• the Victorian Catchment Management Council.
