In 2020 VicWater introduced a new program called the Workshop Series. Each of these events focus on a dedicated topic in a smaller group setting.<\/h4>\n

Our first sessions included New Regulations for Industrial Manslaughter<\/a> presented by Maddocks and an Executive Safety Leadership Program<\/a>. Titles are designed to service our members training and development requirements.<\/p>\n\t

Safety Leadership for Middle Management<\/h3>\n

Following on from our successful Executive Safety Leadership Program, these sessions are designed for middle management to ensure your team are all on the same page. This two-day program covers world-class health and safety leadership principals.<\/p>\n

Participants will get feedback on their strengths and practical suggestions to lift their performance. A personal follow-up is included.<\/p>\n

New Environmental Protection Laws<\/h3>\n

With the new Victorian Environment Protection laws coming into effect on 1 July 2020, we invite you to join us for a breakfast workshop to discuss the implications for the water sector. We will be discussing the key emerging issues arising from the new laws, including the general environmental duty, penalties and enforcement provisions which may impact your organisation, and what amendments you may need to make to processes and procedures to ensure compliance with these new laws.<\/p>\n
