Following the announcements of the Prime Minister and the Premier of South Australia to ban public gatherings of more than 500 people, the Australian Water Association\u2019s (AWA) annual conference and exhibition, Ozwater\u201920, will not proceed in Adelaide between 5-7 May. This will comply with the Commonwealth and the South Australian Government announcements based on the latest medical advice to contain the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Ozwater attracts more than 5,000 attendees, we have no alternative but to wait for the risks associated with COVID-19 to dissipate. We strongly believe that not proceeding with Ozwater\u201920 in May is in the best interests of the health and wellbeing of our members, stakeholders, and the South Australian community.<\/span><\/p>\n
